I'm a lawyer specializing in estate planning, trusts, business succession planning, capacity issues, and elder law. I'm also an author. My first book, "Protect Your Elderly Parents" was published in 2008 and my second book, "Succession Planning Kit for Canadian Business" was published in 2009. In 2010, my third book, which is about how to talk to your family about uncomfortable legal issues arising from aging parents, will be published.

I'm a contributing writer to Calgary Real Estate News, where I write about seniors and their homes. I also contribute frequently to other magazines that deal with seniors and the families of seniors.

I am frequently interviewed on national and local TV and radio. I also do quite a bit of public speaking to audiences ranging from 25 to 250 people.
